Travel to Adams Peak
At 11:00 we had to check out, so we booked a driver for 11:00 to get us from Tangalle to Delhouse to Adams Peak / Sri Pada.
We did some research and called a few drivers, the price to travel to Adams Peak was almost the same from everyone and we ended up paying about 11000 (about 80€). If you take the fast route it’s about 3-4 hours, but the driver asked us if we wanted the fast one or the slow one, where you can see a bit more. So we opted for the slow one.
It totally payed of to see this magnificent landscape changing from coastal to flatlands with big rice plantations and finally the hill country.
We could barely stop taking pictures cause behind every turn of the road it looked kind of different and super scenic. In total it took us about 5 1/2 hours but we loved every minute of it.
